He was loved and cherished by many people including: wife: Elaine Jean (Babyak) Meleski; parents: Joseph J. Meleski and Anne Lucy (Zajac) Meleski; daughter: Vanessa; daughter (predeceased): Erica Ann; brother: Michael; brother-in-law/sister-in-law: John and Kathryn (Kay) Babyak; sisters-in-law/brothers-in-law (predeceased): Mary Louise (Babyak) and Frank Wingert, and Rose Ann (Babyak) and Richard L. Wentz; and 9 nieces and nephews and 14 great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Assumption BVM Catholic Church (649 W Washington St, Slatington, PA 18080). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Joe's name can be made to the church Memorial Fund.
