She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Biss and Ruth Biss (Larson); and her husband Alfred J. Novak. She is survived by: her children, Laura Yarbenet (George), John Novak (Holly) and Martin Novak (Mary); her siblings, Ed Biss Jr. (Jennifer) and Patti Arthurs; her grandchildren, Nicole Yarbenet, Griffin Yarbenet, Jeff Novak (Jacquie), John Novak Jr., Kate Hohmann (Tyler), Martin Novak Jr. (Cassandra) and Mark Novak (Kristyn); and her great grandchildren, Anthony, Rory, Westley, Tanner, Addy, Max and Merritt. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vaia Funeral Home Inc. (463 Athena Dr, Delmont, PA 15626). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Sylvester Roman Catholic Church (3028 PA-819, Slickville, PA 15684).
