He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudell G. Harriger and Sara A. Harriger (Shook); his siblings, Gary R. Harriger and Carolyn Williams; his nephews, Steve and Bradley Harriger; his niece Tammy Zacherl; and his son-in-law Jay Whitaker.
He is survived by: his wife Lana Beabout Harriger; his children, Leeann Whitaker of Baltimore, MD. and Michael L. Harriger (Becky) of Sligo; his grandchildren, Justin Whitaker (Emily) of Baltimore, MD. and Allison L. Baker (Eric) of Sligo; his sister Gloria Campbell of Salem, MA.; his sister-in-law Maxine Harriger of Sligo; and his caregiver Deb Corle. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
