He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin W. "Pete" Porter and Frances B. Myers Porter. He is survived by: his son William J. Porter; his sister Frances Jo Myers-Stanley (Jaime Stanley); his niece Angie Geibel; his nephews, James Neal and John Neal (Mary Jo); his great-nieces and great-nephews, William Scott, Dylan Neal, Camren Neal, Sarahlea Humes and Joella Neal; Jaylynn Geibel.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Martin Funeral Home South Side (429 Center Ave, Butler, PA 16001). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
