He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Dean and Mildred Marshall Dean; and his sisters, Wanda Lechner and Esther Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Linda Kennedy Dean; his children, Lisa Thayer (Steve) of Alexandria, VA and Kenneth Hawk of Ellwood City; his grandson Braden Hawk; and his sister Helen Vanderveen of Hermitage. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Harmony Baptist Church (4103 Ellwood Rd, New Castle, PA 16101).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Harmony Baptist Church.
