She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Riedmann and Theresa Nill Voithofer Riedmann; her husband Carl W. "Rocket" Metz; and her daughter Debra Metz Pepe. She is survived by: her children, Susan Schiffbauer (Robert), Carla Moneck (James), Carl Metz (Sherry), Pamela Vicinelly (Dennis), Donald Metz (Mary), Bruce Metz (Holly) and Melinda Quarrick (Mark); and her sister Theresa Dunham. She is also survived by 18 beautiful grandchildren and 19 cherished great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home (134 W Church St, Fairchance, PA 15436). A rosary was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Cyril and Methodius R. C. Church (50 N Morgantown St, Fairchance, PA 15436). A reception was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home (134 W Church St, Fairchance, PA 15436).
