It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joann Jackson of Smithfield, Pennsylvania, born in York, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 18, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, William McCleary and Ruth Anna McCleary (Arnold). She is survived by : her husband James P. "Butch" Jackson; her daughters, Billie Jo Nicklow (Jason) of Point Marion and Pamela Marie Jackson of Mississippi; her grandchildren, Jason Nicklow, Jr., Heather Nicklow and Cyyrus Simmons; her siblings, Jerry Arnold of Glen Burnie, George Stabler of Muncy, Elsie Frey of Windsor and Carol Piper of Grover; and her grandson James Tyler Nicklow. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
