She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Handschumaker and Ethel Handschumaker; her husband Sim McCann; her son Lester McCann; her son-in-law Larry Dillow Sr.; and her siblings, Bill, Bob, Bud Handschumaker, Dorothy Gates, Ruth Miller and Elva Weir.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Dillow and David McCann (Jackie) of Smithfield; her daughter-in-law Evelyn McCann of Carmichaels; her grandchildren, Larry Dillow Jr. (Linda Sue), Terri Riggin (Dwayne), Tyler McCann (Rylea) and Samantha McCann (Ethan); her great grandchildren, Tara Riggin (Luke), Haylee Long (Jake), Skyler Dillow and Mary Beth Riggin (Anthony); her brother Jim Handschumaker (Sue); and her pet Harlee. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home (134 W Church St, Fairchance, PA 15436). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
