We are sad to announce that on January 18, 2023, at the age of 98, Virginia (Shope) Morgan of Smithfield, Pennsylvania, born in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Francis J. Shope and Laura Shope (Younker); and her siblings, Walter D. Shope, Albert Shope, Nathaniel Shope, Samuel Shope, Ellsworth "Shorty" Shope, Miles Shope, Plymire "Joe" Shope, Raymond Eugene Shope, Clara DeArmitt (Shope), Edith Richards (Shope) and Ethel Goecke (Shope).

She is survived by : her husband George A. Morgan; and her sister Irene Grissinger of Huntingdon. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Flowers are to be omitted and memorial contributions in remembrance of Virginia O. Morgan may be made to Huntingdon County PRIDE, Inc., 1301 Mount Vernon Ave., Huntingdon, PA 16652.
