Donna L. Cramer Obituary

Donna "Bammy" Lee Cramer, 80, of Snow Shoe, passed away at her home on Thursday, May 16, 2024. Born on April 10, 1944, in Clarence, she was the daughter of the late Donald V. and Katherine (McCloskey) Hoover. Donna was a 1962 graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School and was an owner of JD Cramer Transportation, formerly known as Jim and Terry's Transportation. She ran the business operations and drove school buses around the mountaintop for 50+ years before retiring in 2017. She served as the Justice of the Peace in Snow Shoe for many years and was a past board member of the Mountaintop Medical Center.

On May 30, 1963 (Memorial Day), Donna married James (Jim) B. Cramer in Snow Shoe. In addition to Jim, she is survived by their four children: Douglas Cramer and his wife, Maria, Darren Cramer and his wife, Stephanie, Ryan Cramer and his wife, Jacque, and Tricia Fox and her husband, Gary. She was "Bammy" to her seven grandchildren: Devin Houdeshell, Mason Cramer and his wife Natalie, Shay Peters and her husband Radley, Skylar Tice and her husband Travis, Fulton Fox and his wife Loretta, Tanner Cramer and his fiancée Alanna, Levi Cramer, and his fiancée Devon, and three great-grandchildren Marlena, Caroline, and Lynette Peters.

Also surviving are her siblings: Brenda Almeida and her husband, Ramon, Rodney Hoover and his wife, Wanda, Lynda Cramer and her husband, Terry, Keith Hoover, and Lane Hoover and his wife Kathy.

Along with her parents, Donna was preceded in death by brother-in-law Roy R. Cramer, Jr., brother-in-law Paul Cramer, and sister-in-law Erin Cramer.

Donna deeply loved her many hobbies. She was a collector of cookie jars and a variety of dolls. She enjoyed crafts such as quilting, sewing, and watercolors, as well as hosting and visiting yard sales. Donna was a wonderful cook and known for the best stuffing and fudge. She raised many chickens throughout the years and loved her dogs, Lucky and Libby, who stayed by her side until.
