He was predeceased by: his parents, James G. Uzzell and Evelyn G. Uzzell (Turner); and his siblings, Richard "Dick" Uzzell, Sara "Sally" Cowen and Jane Davidson.
He is survived by: his wife Sidney; and his children, Thomas H. Uzzell (Janet) of Burke, VA, Judith Yates (James) of Centre Hall and Sandra Ammerman (Merle) of Snow Shoe. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
