It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Lee Gilghrist of Somerset, Pennsylvania, born in Youngstown, Ohio, who passed away on April 22, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Barbara Lee leaves upon our hearts remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She was predeceased by : her father Jack Jones. She is survived by : her pet Willow; her daughter Jill Nannev; her grandchildren, Bryan Pless (Katie), Larissa Pless and Brenton Pless; her great grandchildren, Emma, Oliver and Rosalie; her daughter Jennifer Gilghrist; and her brother Danny Jones. She is also survived by animals, and devotion to her family.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Humane Society of Somerset County in Barbara's memory.
