It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Lynn Mix of Somerset, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 14, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Lynn Mix to pay them a last tribute.
In the vast expanse of eternity, James shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid James farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Allen and Mary J. Mix (Matthews); and his wife Charlotte Ruth Faidley. He is survived by: his sons, Michael Reed (Rhonda) of Somerset, Mark Reed (Tammy) of Blairsville and Jamie Reed (Tanica) of Berlin; and his sisters, Donna Levad (Doug) of Colorado and Darlene Mix of South Carolina. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services (494 W Main St, Somerset, PA 15501). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at the same location.
