He was predeceased by: his father William Ray. He is survived by: his mother Ruth Elaine Smith (Ream); his son Zachary Hoffman (Martha) of Somerset; his grandsons, Liam, Elijah, Ethan and Aticus; and his siblings, Kimi Mostoller (Kevin) of Friedens, David Smith (Melissa) of Shanksville, Gary Smith (Jolene) and Sondra Smith-Wagner (Benjamin) of Friedens.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Living Hope Church (317 Plank Rd, Somerset, PA 15501).
