He was predeceased by: his brothers, Robert R. and Barry J DeWitt; and his nephew Justin S. Kinneer. He is survived by: his wife Arlene DeWitt (Shawley); his daughters, Jennifer Barkman (Robert) and Melissa Shultz (Chad); his grandchildren, Jake, Ben Barkman, Diem and Mila Shultz; his pets, Mandy, Barley and Josie; his siblings, Ruth "Sis" Ash (Don), Rick DeWitt (Kandi), Deb Kinneer (Bart) and Russ DeWitt (Brenda); and his siblings-in-law, Margaret DeWitt and Tom Shawley (Kathi Columbus).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services (494 W Main St, Somerset, PA 15501). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
