He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Collins and Mildred Collins (Gibson); his son Bradley Jay Collins; his grandson Bobby Jacobs; and his brothers, James and Charles Collins.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Ellen Hostetler; his children, John W. Collins (Valarie), Kim Murphy (Joseph) and Sherry Ream (Rob); and his siblings, Gary Collins (Mary Ann), Catherine Fenstermacher and Jane Rogers. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
A reception will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Laurel Mt. Chapel.
