It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jonas Creed Scheffel of Somerset, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Lee Scheffel and Annie Scheffel (Miller); his children, Nelson and Carolyn Louise; his daughter-in-law Lisa; and his siblings, Sarah, Vera, Alvin, Clarence and David.
He is survived by : his children, Lois Pletcher, Linda Galico (James), Kenneth (Shannon) and Dennis (Debbie); his daughters-in-law, Lori, Loretta Lindstrom (Brett) and Karen Lorraine Barron (Mark); his grandchildren, Lisa, Greg, Ben, Brandan, Jessi, Dan, Jaden, Mady, Carson, Sharayah, Hannah, Cayton, Jeremy, Kyle, Laurie and Leah; and his siblings, Catherine, John and Paul. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services (494 W Main St, Somerset, PA 15501).
