He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Speelman and Leola Speelman (Joseph); his wife Shirley Speelman (Baker); his son Robert Jr.; and his brothers, Lloyd, James and Terry.
He is survived by: his children, Dwayne Speelman (Theresa), Deborah Lynn Pyle (Jeffrey), Ricky Lee Speelman and Brenda DeWitt (Russ); and his sisters, Zelma Tracy and Sharon Love. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren.
