He was predeceased by : his parents, Eugene R. and Mary A. Walters (Smith); his son Jim; and his siblings, Robert E. Walters, Ruth A. Walters and Richard T. Walters.

He is survived by : his children, Jeff Walters (Summer), Jack Walters (Toka), Tina McDowell, Margaret Crate (Russ) and Brian Walters; and his brother Jim Walters (Jackie). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Halverson Funeral Home (476 W Main St, Somerset, PA 15501). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
