Grace A. Freed Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grace A. Freed (Souderton, Pennsylvania), born in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 9, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Zeigler and Kathryn Zeigler (Howe); her brother Paul Zeigler; and her siblings-in-law, Cleta Freed (Moyer) and Elmer "Pete" Hespell.

She is survived by: her husband Harvey D. Freed; her children, Sharyn Burden (Freed), Henry of Hingham, MA, Mary Lou York (Freed), Larry of Hatfield, PA, Richard Freed, Karen (Osenbach) of Quakertown, PA, Jan Turner (Freed) of Souderton, Kristine Villa (Freed), Bob of Scottsdale, AZ, Phil Freed and Melanie Freed (Meyers) of Phoenix, AZ.; her grandchildren, Marcus Burden, Kyle Burden, Corrie Neff (York), Melissa Biros (York), Steven York, Amanda Hasenmayer (Freed), Andrew Freed, Laura McGuigan (Turner), Eric Turner, Andrea Vulcan (Villa), Allison Villa, Jacqueline Villa, Derek Freed, Tyler Freed and Nicholas Freed; her great grandchildren, Christopher, Edward Burden, Alexa, Hailey, Ryder Neff, Hunter, Reagan York, Nathan, Austin Biros, Cassidy, Carson Hasenmayer, Ethan, Haley McGuigan, Elijah, Cedar Vulcan and Bodhi Williams; her great great grandchildren, Gavin and Carter McGuigan; her sisters, Lorraine Gery (Zeigler), Elizabeth "Betty" Hespell (Zeigler), Faye (Homme) and Joan Roberts (Zeigler); and her brother-in-law Howard Freed. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Grace's request was that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to either Souderton Mennonite Home Agape Fund or Grandview Hospice.
