He was predeceased by: his mother Naomi Markley; his brother Glenn F. Markley; and his brother-in-law Tom Cleaver. He is survived by: his wife Blanche Freed (Yothers); his sons, Kevin Freed (Kelly) of Willow Street, PA, Steve Freed (Wanda) of Souderton, PA and Philip Freed (Amy) of Perkiomenville, PA; his grandson Kodey Freed of Perkiomenville, PA; his sisters, Mary Lou Cleaver of Bechtelsville, PA and Christine Graybeal (John) of Annville, PA; and his sister-in-law Carol Markley of Silverdale, PA..
Viewing will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Towamencin Mennonite Church (1980 Sumneytown Pike, Harleysville, PA 19443). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
