He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace E. Schnable and Emma G. Schnable (Heimbach); his siblings, Dorothy Stockert, Emerson Schnable and Kermit Schnable; his grandsons, Samuel and Jacob Schnable; and his daughter-in-law Heather Schnable.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Schnable (Garges); his children, E. Ronald Schnable, Jr. of Souderton, PA, Linette Marschall (Brad) of Souderton, PA and Brian Schnable (Mary) of Barto, PA; his grandchildren, Elle, Aubrey, Matthew, Michael, Maggie and Hanna; his great grandchildren, Rosalyn and Theodore; and his sister Ethel Brazes of Walnutport, PA..
