Verna Williams Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verna Williams of Souderton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 22, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Verna leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne N. Williams and Geraldine Rodgers Williams. She is survived by: her siblings, David Williams (Esther) of Girard, PA, Dana Williams (Brenda) of Lakeland, FL and Diane Herhold (Gene) of Girard, PA; and her friend Gladys Long. She is also survived by eight nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Souderton Mennonite Homes (207 W Summit St, Souderton, PA 18964). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hopewell Christian Fellowship, 601 Hunsicker Road, Telford, PA 18969.
