With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Barna of South Canaan, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 19, 2025 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Barbara Barna to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Theodore Barna; her parents, John Telowsky and Stephania Telowsky (Smolley); her daughter Jane Dunlap; her son-in-law Alan Skoritowski; and her siblings, Joseph, Anna Zinsky, Mary Duda, Julia Zielinski and Olga Telowsky.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan Skoritowski of Scranton; her granddaughter Dr. Sara Skoritowski of Scranton; her sister Lillian Kuhner of Lincoln, Nebraska; and her son-in-law Reid Dunlap (Lynn) of Florida. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Barbara's memory to Dessin Animal Shelter, 138 Miller Drive, Honesdale, PA 18431.
