He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Ruby and Pearl Ruby; and his siblings, Teresa Nicholson, Mary Nicholson, Helen Newcomer, Beverly Crouse, Ann Ruby, George Ruby, John Ruby and David Ruby.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jamie Bulls of McKeesport and Deborah Hixon (Dee) of Connellsville; his grandson Dale Sledge Jr.; his brother Jacob Ruby Sr. of Connellsville; and his brother-in-law Mark Crouse.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vito C. Martucci Funeral Home (123 S 1st St, Connellsville, PA 15425). A reception was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location.
