We announce the death of Agatha Markum (South Fork, Pennsylvania), born in Summerhill, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 2, 2026, at the age of 93. Agatha will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis M. and Mary G. Weinzierl (Wirfel); her husband Robert J. Markum; and her siblings, Millie Weinzierl, Louise Bodenschatz, Grace Lane, Leonard and Gerald Weinzierl.
She is survived by: her children, Denise (Bernard Montag Jr.), Kevin (Grace (Nagle)) and Suzette (Ray McCombie); and her grandchildren, Matthew (Jamie), Craig (Jenna), Eric (Johana), Corey (Elise), Kate, Morgan and Nick. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
