He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Schrift and Elmira Schrift (Bender); his son Thomas Schrift; his grandson Michael "Boy" Schrift; his great grandchild John Paul; his daughter-in-law Satin Schrift (Lemonovich); and his siblings, Delores Farabaugh and Charles Schrift.
He is survived by: his wife Elener Bechel; his children, Joseph Schrift, Raymond (Deborah Baker), Paul Schrift, Virginia Schrift and Vickie (Kevin Wirfel); his grandchildren, Karissa, Kara, Kayla, Karla, Stacy, Melanie, Heather, Anthony, Sophia, Nicholas and Samuel; and his siblings, Patricia Penatzer, Ronald (Gail Boland), Mildred Frank (George), Hayden (Patricia Klatt), William (Janice Hines), Thelma Long and Jean Sliko (Walter). He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren; and 1 great great granddaughter.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc. (621 Maple St, South Fork, PA 15956). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (1640 New Germany Rd, Summerhill, PA 15958).
