She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward D. Ellenberger and Geraldine P. Ellenberger (Fleck); her husband Dennis B. Bowen; her siblings, Mary Jane, Carol Jean "Jeanne" Ellenberger and James Ellenberger; her great grandchild Odella Joy Gerney; and her nephew Matthew Ellenberger.
She is survived by: her children, David (Misti Parkin), Debbie (Mark Wadsworth) and Dawna (Scott Gerney); her grandchildren, Jarrett Bowen, Jensen Bowen, Nathan Gerney (Michaela Hanlon), Kayla Gerney (Richie Marson) and Matthew Wadsworth; her great grandchild Sylvia Brae Gerney; her sister Nancy (John Nicely); and her sister-in-law Peggy Ellenberger (Hawthorne).
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, May 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, May 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the South Fork First Evangelical Church (500 Maple St, South Fork, PA 15956).
