We announce the death of John M. Stohon (South Fork, Pennsylvania), who passed away on October 23, 2026, at the age of 82. He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Stohon and Helen Stohon (Anderko); and his sisters, Gerri Malzi, Janet Cummings and Barbara Turner.
He is survived by: his wife Naomi Stohon (Smith); his children, Michael D. (Melinda (Sholtis)), Lori (Kurt Dell) and Heidi; his former spouse Major Rob Ford; his brother Christopher (Bobbe Jean (Myers)); his grandchildren, Shawn, Shane, Jeremy, Ryan, Josh, Kayla, Tyler, Alyssa, Isaiah, Dylan, Jonah, Jack, Thomas and Kate; and his great grandchild Luna.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc. (621 Maple St, South Fork, PA 15956). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (1640 New Germany Rd, Summerhill, PA 15958).
