He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael J. Gdula and Katherine M. "Kay" Gdula (Markovich); his siblings, Kathleen and David; and his nephew Chad.
He is survived by: his wife Patrica "Patty" Gdula (Smiach); his son Michael (Sandra (Wess)); his grandchildren, Jude, Aaron and Drew; his sister Nancy (late Rich Kenda); and his in-laws, Robert "Muzz" Blanchetti (Regina (Ratchford)), Peggy (Harry Carpenter), Mike Smiach and Linda (Beatty).
