He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph J. "Shorty" Wess and Coletta Wess (Betz); his grandson Lee Wess; his daughter-in-law Twila Wess (Williams); and his siblings, Helen Miller, David and George Wm.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Wess (Wirfel); his children, Jess (Jeanne), Dale (Patricia), Thomas (MaryAnn), Julia (Gary Borlie), Jane (Nick Chabon), Theodore (Sarah), Susan Wess and Sandra Wess; and his sister-in-law Phyllis Wess (Agypt). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc. (621 Maple St, South Fork, PA 15956). A Mass will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (1640 New Germany Rd, Summerhill, PA 15958).
