He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter J. Knisel and Mary Jane Knisel (Werfel); and his sisters, Mary Jean and Mary Joan. He is survived by: his siblings, Joseph, Mary Ann Adams (Woody), Rose Marie Penatzer, Karen Beyer (Timothy) and Rita Mae Mason. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc. (621 Maple St, South Fork, PA 15956). A Mass will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Bartholomew Catholic Church (191 Church Hill Rd, Portage, PA 15946).
