He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Sr. Knisel and Julia Knisel (Saylor); his daughter Michele Knisel; and his siblings, Dorothy, Rosellia Knisel, Edward and Walter.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Knisel (Freidhoff); his daughter Lynne (Allen Sauter); his grandchildren, Krista Mader, Karley Chiodo, Tricia Sauter, Derek and Jacob Sauter (Meghan); and his great grandchildren, Emilee, Ana and Mira.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc. (621 Maple St, South Fork, PA 15956). A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (1640 New Germany Rd, Summerhill, PA 15958).
