He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas L. Derk and Pearl Heilig Derk; his former wife Peggy Sloane Derk; and his sister Delores Hensley. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Keach Osman Derk; his children, Heidi Stum of Harrisburg, Tracy Derk of Harrisburg, Richard Osman (Danielle) of Harrisburg and Ruthann Black (Tom) of York Springs; his granddaughters, Abigail Osman, Alexandra White (Jonathan), Angela Pasquini, Alyssa Black, Beth Kreiser and Leah Kreiser; his great grandchildren, Eloise White and Genevieve White; and his brother Elliot H. Derk (Ruthann) of Hershey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
