In the sacred silence of farewell, Carol is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Carol's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Ben, Rae, Pat and Keri. She is survived by: her husband William Boyd III; her children, Shelley Lee and William John; and her grandson Bryce William. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at 222 Washington Rd, South Hills, PA 15216. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Laughlin Cremation & Funeral Tributes (222 Washington Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15216). Later, from 2003 until the onset of the COVID pandemic, she worked at the Upper St. Clair Library as a reference librarian and Adult Programs Director.
