It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia May (Mentzer) Waybright of South Mountain, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 20, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Stover Mentzer and Mildred Elizabeth Swope; and her husband Martin J. Waybright. She is survived by: her daughter Ellen R. Fissel (Ray) of South Mountain; her grandchildren, Aja Fissel and Aaron Fissel; her great grandchildren, Litzy, Joseph and Owen Fissel; and her siblings, Judy Mentzer of Spring Grove, Bonnie Sprenkle of Biglerville, Debbie Lynch of Mt. Holly Springs, Ivan Mentzer of Rouzerville, Martha Fitz of Spring Grove, Sonny Mentzer of Spring Grove and Thomas Mentzer of Waynesboro. She is also survived by nieces and nephews as well as a host of extended family.
