Dorothy Apel Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy Apel of South Park, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 11, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert A. Apel; and her siblings, Jack, Rose Masur, Tom, Patricia O'Mahoney, Elsie Conte and Dan.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Jr., Darlene Sninsky, Ed (Jamie) and Tammy (Michael Pro); her siblings, Myrtle Luther, James P. O'Leary (Catherine) and Kathleen M. O'Leary; and her grandchildren, Ashley, Bryce and Brody. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the David Henney Funeral Home (6364 Library Rd, South Park Township, PA 15129). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at the David J. Henney Funeral Home (6364 Library Rd, South Park Township, PA 15129).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to South Hills Pet Rescue Boarding, 15 Old 88, South Park, PA 15129.
