He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Owens and Teresa Owens (Masur); his son Preston Parrish, II; his grandson Joey Parrish; and his brother Tommy Owens.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Owens (Willetts); his children, Ken Parrish (Kris), Matthew Parrish (Amy), Brian Owens (Alyssa) and Colleen Owens (Nate Wright); his grandchildren, Katelynn, Tayler Parrish, Kelsey Parrish, Lorelie Wright, Anna and Lilly Owens; and his sisters, Kathy Wollett (late William), Janet Owens (late Lou Mastracci) and Patty Owens (Skip Davidson). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
