Phyllis M. Griggs Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phyllis M. Griggs of South Williamsport, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 24, 2026 at the age of 99. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruno Mahonski and Anna Mahonski (Kereski); her husband Harold A. Griggs Jr.; her daughter Ann M. Fry; and her grandson Joshua A. Griggs.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce L. Jones of South Williamsport, Harold A. Griggs III (Ann) of Newark, Joseph A. Griggs (Sherry) of South Williamsport, James E. Griggs (Mary) of Lewisburg, Kristin M. Kinney (Stephen) of South Williamsport and Marc K. Griggs (Millie) of Endeavor, Wisconsin; and her sister Caroline M. Engle. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions in Phyllis' name be made to the Susquehanna Foundation, for the benefit of the Gatehouse, 1001 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport PA 17701.
