He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrude Ida Evanson and George Martin Evanson; and his siblings, Eleanor Gain and Kenneth Evanson. He is survived by: his siblings, Deborah Nolan, James Evanson, Carol Erney, Susan Brauer and Brenda Doughty; his wife Phyllis Evanson (Doneker); his children, Richard Allen Evanson Jr. (Alyson Evanson) and Dawn Gehret (Matthew Gehret); his grandchildren, Cassidy, Collin, Ricky, Hannah, Hayley and Bruce; and his great grandchild Zachary.
