He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Gordon Potts, Sr. and Cora Mair; his son Scott; his former wife Roberta; and his sisters, Barbara and Eleanor.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his children, Thomas G. Potts III (Gail), Richard Potts, Michael Potts (Theresa) and Melissa Potts Meade (Jonathan); his grandchildren, Michael (Megan), Steven (Kara), Taylor (Alina), Kelsey (Patrick), Troy, Sean, Luke and Lily; his great grandchildren, Brianna, Blair, Brent, Grace, Emery and Gwenivere; and his sister Marion Arne (Louis).
