He was predeceased by: his parents, David F. Johnston and Madelyn Johnston; and his sister Barbara Chicano. He is survived by: his wife Wendy Johnston; his daughter Macy Gunnells; and his siblings, Kevin Johnston and Victoria Foote. He is also survived by three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
