He was predeceased by: his siblings, John, Larry and Alice. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Schad Frith; his son Philip (Shannon); his granddaughters, Angela and Laura; and his sisters, Betty Frith Miller and Jan Frith Hohlefelder.

Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Wounded Warrior Project, and Tunnel to Towers.
