She was predeceased by: her husband Harry K. Umstead, Jr.; her parents, Ernest Andes and Sara Andes (Miller); her grandsons, James Weikel, Jr. and Wayne Smith; and her brothers, Richard (Dick), Gerald and William Andes.
She is survived by: her daughters, Wendy Weikel (James), Kendra Edwards (John II), Darlene Umstead and Tammy Walters (Kenneth). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.
