We are sad to announce that on February 27, 2026, at the age of 43, Matthew D. Hilker of Spring Grove, Pennsylvania, born in York, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Matthew is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Matthew's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his father John L. Hilker, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Rose M. Hilker (Dubs); his siblings, Angie Hilker of Thomasville, John L. Hilker, Jr. (Katie) of Spring Grove and Kim Hilker of Hanover; and his siblings' children, Samuel Hilker, Keara O'Brien, Will Hilker and Jack O'Brien.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calvary Bible Church (603 Wilson Ave, Hanover, PA 17331). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
