He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair Slagel and Marcella Slagel (Senft); and his son Craig Slagel. He is survived by: his wife Audrey R. Slagel (Myers); his children, Lawrence Slagel (Mary Beth), Michael Slagel (Sharon) and Cynthia Beck (Dennis); his daughter-in-law Brenda Slagel; his grandchildren, Angela, Adam, Matthew, Tricia, Amy and Megan; and his great grandchildren, Lucas, Easton, Eisley, Addison and Kelsea.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Philip's memory can be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 4767 Lehman Rd, Spring Grove, PA 17362.
