He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair Slagel and Marcella Slagel (Senft); and his son Craig Slagel. He is survived by: his wife Audrey R. Slagel (Myers); his children, Lawrence Slagel (Mary Beth), Michael Slagel (Sharon) and Cynthia Beck (Dennis); his daughter-in-law Brenda Slagel; his grandchildren, Angela, Adam, Matthew, Tricia, Amy and Megan; and his great grandchildren, Lucas, Easton, Eisley, Addison and Kelsea.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Beck Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc. (175 N Main St, Spring Grove, PA 17362). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (4767 Lehman Rd, Spring Grove, PA 17362). The inurnment will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at the St. Paul Union Cemetery.
