She is survived by: her husband Barry L. Messersmith; her daughter Nicole Messersmith (Jay Long); her granddaughters, Jalyssa Carulli (Jayson) of El Paso, TX, Elaina Martin of York and Aleah Martin of York; and her brothers, George McKinsey of Dover and Roger McKinsey of Stewartstown. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to Serenity Hospice, 205 Granite Run Drive, Lancaster, PA 17601.
