She was predeceased by: her parents, John Nace and Charlotte Nace (Rishel); her husband Alvin Stremmel; her son Michael Stremmel; and her siblings, Edward (Charles), Thelma Gordon (Melvin), Helen Sharp, Edith Brenneman, Erma Keiser and Florence Myers (Raymond Nace).
She is survived by: her children, Keith Stremmel of Lancaster and Jennifer Gervasio (Matthew) of Spring Grove; her granddaughters, Gracelyn and Angelina Gervasio; and her siblings, Verna Bankert, John Nace Sr. and Ralph Nace. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Black Rock Church of the Brethren (3864 Glenville Rd, Glenville, PA 17329). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Black Rock Church of the Brethren in Glenville, PA, in memory of Ruthanna.
