He was predeceased by: his parents, George C. Whitman and Elma C. Hendershot Whitman. He is survived by: his spouse Gail Lucille Barnhart; his daughters, Cindy Whitman Grove (Dennis Lee Grove) of Centre Hall and Barbara A. Judy of Spring Mills; his sisters, Doris France (Roy) of Honey Brook, Lois Gibson (Paul) of State College, Gail Vonada of Centre Hall and Marcia Williams of East Earl; his grandchildren, Ashley Mason (Chris), Alanna Steffens (Patrick) and April Judy; and his great grandchildren, Taylor, Ryan, Charles, Parker and Harrison.
