She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur F. Yearick and Sarah V. "Fetterolf" Yearick (Carl); her husband Carl H. Long, Jr.; and her siblings, Richard Yearick, Nelson Yearick (Iris), Edward Yearick (Nancy) and Mary "Cass" Steiger (Leon).
She is survived by: her children, Beverly Henninger (Gary) of Elizabethtown, Carla Brungart (Dale) of Spring Mills, Kevin Long (Donna) of Spring Mills, Curtis Long (Joni) of Dillsburg, Kermit Long (Lori) of Spring Mills and Brian Long (Marci) of Spring Mills; her siblings, Elaine Witherite (Ron) of Reedsville and Philip Yearick (Sue) of Madisonburg; her grandchildren, Kyle Henninger (Angela), Angela, Derek Long, Cara Long, Aaron Long (Lisa), Bryce Long (Alanna), Darren Brungart (Leslie Shivery), Nathan Brungart, Ethan Long (Melissa), Nicolette Foresman (Loran), Joseph Purpora (Lisa), Nicholas Purpora and Mitchele Brown (Nakisha); and her great grandchildren, Logan Henninger (Tracey), Lilly Henninger, Savannah, Keegan, Andrew Long (Rosanna), Chase Lenk, Leeland, Emmett Long, Fiona, Brody Long, Dallas, Oakley Foresman, Carlee Emery, Arya, Raylan Purpora, Kinsley, Kenadie and Kase Brown. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Steven R. Neff Funeral Home (120 W Main St, Millheim, PA 16854-0437). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be given to the American Cancer Society or Centre County Paws.
